Battling Discouragement
Do you ever get weary?? You work hard to do good, you put your whole heart into things, and you feel like no one notices? Or you have someone in your path that has every intention of being a roadblock to you and the purpose God has placed in your life?
It is so hard to focus on the positive ...the plans that give you a hope and a future...when the enemy is right there, either disguised as good intentions or in-your-face contention. (Not sure which is worse)
If you find yourself on this place of discouragement there is a choice to make. You can dissolve into weakness, letting your fear and discouragement take you to a place of compliance and hopelessness. Or you can stand strong, remember exactly Whose you are, and face your discouragement, and those trying to heap it on you, with confidence in who Christ calls you to be, and certainty that if He called you, He equipped you!
Ladies, we don’t have to be doormats. We don’t have to let others rain on our beautiful parade. We aren’t required to allow others that control over our lives.
The control over our life goes to God alone. He has great plans to prosper us. He has blessings in store for us. He knows our hearts and dreams. He is certain of what He has fashioned us for in this life.
Don’t let someone keep you from the good you are doing. Don’t get weary and give up. The strength of the Lord is on your side...a strength that will never leave you or forsake you. And that is enough to stand up to anything or anyone that comes against you... no matter how big the mountain.
